Bistro Zum Gickel in Grosswallstadt

Ordered and picked up chicken legs spicy with fries and swedish salad. Top ... Chicken hot and crispy just like the fries. Excellent!

Best Gickel ever

Unfortunately, I cannot make a statement about the culinary skills. I did not enjoy them. There were four of us on the bike and would have liked to refresh ourselves with chicken and drinks. The shop door was wide open so we assumed it was open. But that wasn't the case, as a resolute lady told us before she closed the shop on our four noses. Okay ... it was 4:50 pm ... they don't open until 5 pm ... okay too. But that could have been said in a more friendly way and maybe offered us a place in the beer garden? Then we just kept cycling .... don't do anything. Annoyed me. P.S. It's not about waiting 10 minutes. I have no problem with that. I would have liked the explanation that is now underneath. And not just "close the door".

Super large fries portions, very good spice mixes for the chicken and the burgers are great too.

Chicken is okay but I have called several times and they have sold out of dishes on their menu or give you an astronomical wait to to pick up your food like two hours, or simply say were closing 2 or 3 hours before their regular time. Like I said the chicken is okay but I think the only reason they do well is because their the only chicken joint for 20 miles
